In 2012 the Wooden Spoon Charity stepped up to help the Scottish Association for Children with Heart Disorder (SACHD) purchase a new caravan on Faskally Wood caravan site.
We opened the New Caravan on the 19th July 2012. Members mixed with a delegation from the Wooden Spoon and Scottish Rugby. The photo below, taken at the opening shows the group including Peter Brown who sadly passed away recently.
The caravan has been well used in the 12 years since its opening with many “Heart” families having a great break in the Pitlochry area of Perthshire. Families can have a relaxing time or go for walks taking in the beautiful scenery.
